What an incredible evening with Andrea + Taylor?! Such awesome folks — we had crazy hot sun and torrential downpours and they just smiled their way through it all. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding later this year..stay tuned for more! And special thanks to Gambill Farm down in Roaring River, NC for being an awesome host for the shoot. We love photographing weddings for a whole host of reasons — mainly that its generally one of the happiest days of people’s lives. Nowhere is this more evident than the dance floor when everyone has lost all inhibition and started to feel all warm and celebratory! Sarah + Adam are the greatest! What a beautiful and authentic weekend we had with them in Cashiers late last fall. High Hampton Inn, again, is incredible. Amazing people and beautiful mountains in our beloved western NC. Cheers!

It’s been a cold couple of months around here — but awfully warm in our little home! Dress designing for Whitney, a quick bourbon vacation for Dustin in Kentucky, lots (and lots) of baby loving for everyone, food spilling, chick rearing, and a whole lotta winter peacefulness.
