It’s been a cold couple of months around here — but awfully warm in our little home! Dress designing for Whitney, a quick bourbon vacation for Dustin in Kentucky, lots (and lots) of baby loving for everyone, food spilling, chick rearing, and a whole lotta winter peacefulness.
What an incredible time we had with Anna + Akshay at BRONX ZOO last fall! Akshay works at foursquare and Anna had resisted joining for the longest time until just before the wedding when she asked him to be her friend and subsequently checked in at the zoo before he did…amazing. These guys are just spectacular and wonderfully in love. We got to spend an incredible afternoon in Asheville recently getting to know Kristen and Cal — they’re awesome! Can’t wait to share in their wedding day later this year..stay tuned!

so silly and inquisitive — we’re over the moon at deal house! if we’re a little slow to respond to emails and such, just assume we’re too tied up squeezing those cheeks!
So thankful we got to spend an inspiring little afternoon of rolling down the streets, Simon + Garfunkel singing, and orange throwing with Kelly + Noah in Durham recently! As Kelly tells it, when she and Noah met she always brought him an orange to snack on. She eventually proposed to him (!) by giving him a ring hidden inside of a halved orange!
